Professor Taher Omari 

Professor Taher Omari is an academic leader in the field of manometry. He developed the analysis software for interpreting pharyngeal manometry, available online at Swallowgateway.com. Professor Omari endeavours for continual development of the Swallowgateway.com platform providing for valuable multi-disciplinary dysphagia assessment and management. 


Associate Professor Charles Cock

A/Prof Charles Cock is a Gastroenterologist and Head of the Swallowing Disorders Clinic and Motility Laboratory at Flinders Medical Centre. He is an international expert in pharyngeal and oesophageal analysis and interpretation, leading several clinical research projects in neurodegenerative diseases and healthy aging.   


Dr Mistyka Schar

Dr Mistyka Schar is a Speech Pathologist who recently completed her Ph.D. in the clinical application of pharyngeal manometry in dysphagia. She is a Research Fellow at Flinders University, coordinating several pharyngeal manometry research projects. Dr Schar and A/Prof Cock have established a pharyngeal manometry clinical service at Flinders Medical Centre.
