This one day practical hands-on course is targeted at ENT surgeons and ENT Registrars who wish to further develop their knowledge and procedural skills in the field of Laryngology. The morning session will focus on office based laryngeal injections including indications, patient selection, injection techniques and materials / therapeutic agents. The participants will have the opportunity to practice Injection laryngoplasty, novel laryngeal injection techniques for chronic cough including steroids and botulinum toxin and airway steroid injections for subglottic stenosis in an animal model. The afternoon session will focus on advanced laryngeal instrumentation including blue laser (office based and in the OR) and laryngeal coblation.Esteemed international faculty at the workshop include Professor Markus Hess (Germany), Dr Guillermo Campos (Colombia), Professor Michael Benninger (USA), along with a selection of local Australian laryngologists.
