Head and Neck Ultrasound Workshop

Date: Thursday 19 March 2026
Location: Hotel Grand Chancellor Hobart
Convener: Catherine Sinclair

The primary objective of the course is to introduce office-based ultrasound examination of the thyroid, parathyroid, and neck for commonly encountered diseases, thereby providing background knowledge and basic skills to perform supervised ultrasound examinations.

There will be hands-on stations in the afternoon session including how to prepare slides for FNA.

Indigenous Health Workshop

The ASOHNS annual Indigenous Health Workshop is designed for ENT surgeons and trainees, Aboriginal ear health practitioners, GPs, ACCHO community organisations and teachers.

Registration for the Indigenous Health Workshop will include a cultural activity. Further information will be available closer to the workshop.

Paediatric ENT Workshop

The Paediatric ENT workshop is designed for General ENT surgeons, GPs, Emergency Department practitioners, Paediatricians, Physicians and Rural practitioners. The focus is on providing updates on paediatric conditions.

Cancellations must be notified in writing to asohnsasm@surgeons.org. Cancellations made on or prior to Tuesday 20 January 2026 will incur a 20% cancellation fee of the total registration cost. No refunds will be given to cancellations made after Tuesday 20 January 2026.
